Our Chiropractors tailor treatment to your individual needs and goals, utilizing a variety of treatments including spinal and extremity manipulation, manual and instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, cupping therapy, trigger point release, rehabilitative exercise prescription, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, and many more.

Dr. Demetri Dalekos

Chiropractor, Founder of D+A Wellness Centre

“Chiropractic care kept me playing football when most thought I couldn’t. It has gotten me to where I’m feeling my best self; and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.”

Born and raised in Ottawa, Dr. Demetri Dalekos played many different sports and developed a passion for hockey and football. Dr. Demetri had a successful football career playing fullback for Team Ontario and the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees, and experienced numerous injuries and surgeries. His background led him to have a keen interest in treating athletes, as well as treating spinal and extremity dysfunction, and myofascial pain.

During his time with the Gee-Gees, Dr. Demetri earned his BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. He then hung up his cleats and pursued his dream of becoming a Chiropractor and graduated from New York Chiropractic College with Academic honours.

If Dr. Demetri is not treating patients, you’ll most likely find him in the gym pursuing his passion for exercise and healthy living.
